Where you are considering works that fall under the scope of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2007, you will need to appoint a CDM Co-Ordinator (CDMC).
Your CDMC will advise and assist you with your duties as "Client", notify the Health & Safety Executive, will co-ordinate the health and safety aspects of design elements and prepare and update the health and safety file. In addition, the CDMC should facilitate good communication, liaise with the principal contractor regarding design and any changes to this as well as identifying and collecting / passing on pre-construction phase information.
DPO Property have acted as CDM Co-ordinator on numerous projects of differing scale and value to both the industrial, commercial and residential sectors.
