All too often people rely on a contractor or tradesperson to advise them where there is a problem with their property, and this may not be the best solution. We routinely attend properties where repairs have purportedly been undertaken to remedy a defect, only to find that the repairs are either to a low or poor standard, or the defect has been misdiagnosed and a costly repair has been in vain.
